Whether you are a native Arabic speaker or not, the act of reciting the Quran has transformative effects on both the mind and soul. Connecting with the Divine Message through Quran recitation allows individuals to establish a spiritual bond with their Creator.

The same may be said of the miraculous nature of the Qur'an, without any differences: understanding of it came to those who had knowledge of the Arabic language and would see, based on their knowledge of Arabic, the difference between the Qur'an and regular Arabic speech.

As stated above, their excuse is that the Qur'an is not in their language and only an Arab or an Arabic speaker can understand the verses. The truth is however far from their mistaken beliefs. A believer can understand the Qur'an and live by it even while possessing little or no Arabic knowledge.

The Arabic version of the Quran is the best as it's the language of the original revelation but translation is a necessity due to the majority of Muslims being non-Arabic speakers so that they can easily recite and understand the Quran.

Yes, you need to learn Arabic to understand Quran. Quran has hundreds of translations that may assist people who don't speak Arabic to understand what's written in it. However, these translations are not enough to capture the beauty of the Quran and its accurate meanings. Allah SWT said:
In general, Muslims who want to understand the Quran better and are non-native Arabic speakers are looking for proper ways how to learn Arabic language to understand Quran better
I'm telling you as an experienced Quranic Arabic teacher, having now taught hundreds of non-Arabs, that learning Arabic, understanding the Quran and being able to speak Arabic is easy. Allah, the Glorious, the Majestic tells all of us that He is the One who has made this Quran easy for all.
